New London Project

Mission: The mission behind the New London Project is to cultivate stories from people in the city. Our city is small but very diverse. My goals is to capture stories that make an impact. They don't have to be the most important stories, but they have to contribute to the history, the people, and why it is important to live in this community.

If you have a story or know someone that has a great story. We would love to hear from you. Contact the New London Storytelling Project and we will reach out. 

In most cases we record the story and then transcribe it to text. We will begin archiving them in the hopes that we can save them for other to read, catalog, and make part of a non-traditional history of where we live. 

Once we capture stories, we will begin a new website where readers and listeners can go through the stories and connections. They can comment and continue our conversations about stories, New London, and how we remember.
